2012 Travel arrangements & Insurance for Schools' Courses

2012 Courses at Sjusjøen (Sunday-Sunday)

Travel: flights

School groups should fly to Oslo (Gardermoen) on the Sunday at the beginning of their course, arriving in the morning. There are regular direct flights to Oslo from all London airports, Manchester and Edinburgh. Full details of recommended flights for Schools' Courses are included in our Information Pack, available on request. Nordic Challenge will advise individual schools on the most suitable airports and flights for them during the detailed planning stage in the Autumn.

Groups will either transfer from the airport by train to Lillehammer where they will be met by Nordic Challenge staff and then transfer by coach to their accommodation in Sjusøen, or will be met at the airport by Nordic Challenge staff and transfer by coach to their accommodation at Sjusjøen.

Groups return to the airport the following Sunday by one of the same two options.

The decision on transfer arrangements will be made when total numbers for each course are confirmed. The cheapest option for schools will be selected. Nordic Challenge will discuss all arrangements with schools before arrangements are made.  

Insurance

All Nordic Challenge clients will require individual Winter Sports and Holiday Travel insurance cover.
