We at Nordic Challenge are currently evaluating the ongoing situation with regards to the threat posed by Covid-19 as well as the additional challenges we all face with various travel restrictions and quarantine stipulations imposed. It is still our desire to run limited courses in Gålå in Norway during February 2021 from weeks 6-8 and we will post updates here as and when the situation becomes a little clearer.
In the meantime we thank you for your continued interest in our activities and look forward to seeing you back on skis as soon as possible!

Beginners

We run a beginners’ course every week throughout our season. A gentle introduction to cross-country skiing. Suitable for everyone irrespective of age or physical ability.

Classic Style

These are fun weeks for those wishing to brush up their technique and include plenty of touring through some truly memorable scenery. May include skate ski instruction on request.

Freestyle - Skate skiing

We have designated Week 7 (Feb 9-16) a skate skiing week whereby the emphasis of the week will be on ski skate instruction, but supplemented by some classic skiing and touring.

Families' Week

Week 8 (Feb 16-23) is our families’ week. This really is a brilliant week for all the family. Both children and parents get their own dedicated instructors but come together for family ‘challenges’ in the afternoon.
